My experience over Obstetrics "Pain not reducting- could it be pelvic inflammatory disease?"

So I have been on 3 different antibiotics for my pelvic pain- co amoxiclav, metronidazole and Doxycline- all 3 which has not really reduced any of pain. My swab sample came back that I did infact have an infection, but bacteria that caused it was not able to identify. As far as I know, these tablets were to treat UTIs (do not have), bacterial vaginosis (lab test only came back as it suspected’ but not certain) and finally Doxycycline (for a broad spectrum of bacterial infections, including STI). Over the span of 3 weeks on these meds, pain is still there. Could my infection be gone, but pain is there due to damage done to my reproductive organs? Or even Pelvic inflammatory disease? Doctors can’t pinpoint and I am still waiting for an ultrasound to be done. I don’t want to be put on another week of antibiotics, pain killers and laxatives! I just want an answer as to has anyone had to deal with antibiotics being ineffective?
