Hello! I am 42 and having an abdominal hysterectomy Tuesday. To be overly specific, my nurse said it was a "Exploratory Laparotomy, Total Abdominal Hysterectomy, Bilateral Salpingectomy, Possible Bilateral Salpingo-Oophorectomy. That is a big way of saying that [the doctor] will make an incision on the stomach and remove the cervix, uterus, fallopian tubes, and possibly the one or both ovaries."
I do not have any children or pets, so I don't have to worry about carry for someone during my recovery. Do you have any hospital stay or recovery tips?
Thanks in advance for your help!
