My experience over Obstetrics "Nuvaring help"

I had trouble getting my most recent nuvaring due to insurance issues, this lead to it being out for around 12 days instead of the usual 7. Should I still remove it on the normal day I do every month? Or should I leave it in for the 3 weeks since insertion? Thank you in advance, I tried googling but it’s a bit convoluted for that.
