Obstetrics - Should I be concerned about a bump on my chest?

What is "Obstetrics " ?

Obstetrics is the field of study concentrated on pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. As a medical specialty, obstetrics is combined with gynecology under the discipline known as obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN), which is a surgical field.

My experience over Obstetrics "Should I be concerned about a bump on my chest?"

I’ve had a small bump on my chest for a few years now, almost level with the crook of my armpit but slightly below. It is not visible at all, my skin looks completely normal in the area, it just feels like a small bump. My previous doctor said it was most likely a cyst, and since it wasn’t causing any pain or changing in size I shouldn’t be concerned. However, this past week it started to hurt out of nowhere. It only hurts when I put a bit of pressure on it, and my skin is now a bit red and irritated in that area. It also seems like it may have gotten bigger in the past week but I’m not 100% sure. This obviously isn’t normal so I’m concerned, but I’ve called about 6 OBGYN’s in my area and the soonest appointment I’ve been able to book was a month out. Is there anything I can or should do in the mean time?
