Obstetrics is the field of study concentrated on pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. As a medical specialty, obstetrics is combined with gynecology under the discipline known as obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN), which is a surgical field.

My experience over Obstetrics "Moms and newborns discharged from MBO"

Any providers that work on a Mother Baby Obstetrics unit- Do you often have mother/baby dyads in your unit for whom it is clear that they will struggle once discharged? And what are the reasons/ how can you tell? What do you wish you could send home with those moms and newborns?
