My experience over Obstetrics "Started period on BC patch"

So I recently realized after 3 patch changes that I’ve been changing it every 9 days instead of the required every 8 days. Usually I don’t get my period until days after I’ve removed the patch for my patch free, period week so it’s very abnormal for me to have started while still patched.

Should I be worried that my mistake has caused the birth control to not work for the past 3weeks?
