My experience over Obstetrics "Should I put petroleum jelly on my vulvar biopsy site?"

I (23F) got a vulvar biopsy for lichen Sclerosus the other day (no results yet) and whenever I’m at the gynecologist I get really uncomfortable and nervous so I forgot to ask if I should be putting petroleum jelly on my biopsy site to help it heal like I was instructed to do when I got a mole removed a few years back.

If it matters the biopsy site was at the bottom (a bit towards the right) of my vaginal opening.
