My experience over Obstetrics "Flu shot while pregnant?"

Im 3 months pregnant and keep getting pressured by my obgyn to get the flu shot. I haven't had a flu shot since... geez idk I was in junior high or maybe beginning of high-school since I was in public school. I haven't actually gotten the flu in 7 years since I've always had a really good immune system. But I see the benefits I guess I just am concerned about putting anything into my body during pregnancy that isn't absolutely necessary. Any thoughts? I know in the end its my choice but I can't seem to decide.
