My experience over Obstetrics "How long do your antibiotics take to work?"

I was diagnosed with bv and a yeast infection and tomorrow will be day 4 of me taking meds for those. I feel like I’ve had some improvement but I still get burning through the day. Burning and pain with sex (feels like it’s burning and ripping) was my #1 symptom. No bad smell, no itching, no crazy discharge. Just wondering your experience with bv, Flagyl and Diflucan, how long did it take for symptoms to go away or did it even help? If it doesn’t help, what should I ask or tell my doctor? I’m going back to her November 15th.
