My experience over Obstetrics "How long does ruptured cyst pain last?"

Went to the ER on Wednesday with some left side pain ( I have diverticulitis so assumed it was a flair) told I have ruptured left ovarian cyst .. no signs of infection, no fever .. sent home with pain meds and the pain has picked up since and the meds aren't even touching the pain .. curious if anyone else has had this and how long it lasted? It's excruciating
