Obstetrics - I've got a question:Health care

What is "Obstetrics " ?

Obstetrics is the field of study concentrated on pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. As a medical specialty, obstetrics is combined with gynecology under the discipline known as obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN), which is a surgical field.

My experience over Obstetrics "I've got a question"

I'm on microgestin for b.c. I got covid and was put on paxlovid. Paclovid messes with any birth control and helped me to make period early. I think it was early by 2 weeks. As I was on the 2nd week dosage of a pack. My ob isn't concerned. But I'm curious is an early period resets the menstrual cycle if ur on bc.

Typically menstrual starts the day u bleed. So if I bleed early does that restart my cycle day count even tho I'm still on b.c. and would be on now week 3 of the b.c pack.

Does that make sense?? I'm asking cuz I want to learn how to track my cycle even while being on b.c. so ik what to look for when we go to stop it and start making our family.

If I started on the 28th of Sept. And stopped on the 2nd of oct. Today makes day 9 of my cycle. If I'm doing this correct. If not. How cn I fix it?
