My experience over Obstetrics "Side effects after switching to Yaz"

Hello all,

I need some help!

So, I recently switched over this past Sunday (after my period) from Junel 1/20 to Yaz. The first two days were fine, but today and yesterday, I've had lots of nausea, diarrhea, and an increase in anxiety (almost to the point of feeling like I can't take it). I want to stop it already and go back to Junel. I have a few questions:

  1. Did I transition appropriately from Junel 1/20 to Yaz; should I be using a second method of contraception? I read that switching from combo pill to combo pill it should be fine.
  2. Can I just start taking Junel tomorrow if I wanted, or do I have to finish the pack of Yaz?

Anyone with insight, I am very appreciative! THANK YOU!
