Obstetrics - Titanium “clip” persistently hurts after breast biopsy?:Health care

What is "Obstetrics " ?

Obstetrics is the field of study concentrated on pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. As a medical specialty, obstetrics is combined with gynecology under the discipline known as obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN), which is a surgical field.

My experience over Obstetrics "Titanium “clip” persistently hurts after breast biopsy?"

About 2 months ago, I had an ultrasound-guided biopsy done on my right breast to check out a suspicious mass. The doc left a metal “clip” at the biopsy site for future exams/procedures, which is completely normal to my understanding. The mass turned out to be totally benign (woohoo!), but the area where the clip randomly hurts.

The doc warned me that “twinges” would possibly occur for a couple weeks following the procedure, but it’s been over 6 weeks now and it still is bothering me. The best way to describe it is like a very, very mild Charlie horse, or like someone kind of pushing/twisting it. On a scale of 1-10, it’s probably like a 3 or 4. It will only last for a second or two, and then it just goes away. This happens once a day, sometimes multiple times a day. I don’t think it really coincides with my cycle or anything.

My question is: is this normal? Did/does this happen to anyone else? Is it just my brain feeling a little freaked out about having a “foreign object” in my boob? It doesn’t feel “bad” enough to go back to my doc, but it is uncomfortable and pretty annoying…any insight is helpful
