My experience over Obstetrics "Discharge from one nipple"
Context: I'm 32 years old. No real history of breast issues, although about 4 years ago I had an ultrasound on this same breast because my previous OB said she felt something there, but the ultrasound said it was just some denser tissue and nothing to worry about. Been under a lot of stress the past ~5 weeks trying to buy a house.
On oral BC, but no other meds that might cause this.
For the past few weeks, I occasionally would feel like there was something wet on/around my right nipple. I WFH, so not wearing bras much/at all lately - just noticing this while wearing a tshirt or my bathrobe, etc. But when I'd check my clothes, I never saw any moisture or anything so just chalked it up to a weird sensation I was experiencing.
I've tried squeezing too, and can't get anything to come out myself. Tried pressing against my nipple firmly with a kleenx, nothing...
But this morning I was sitting up in bed having coffee, felt something wet again for the first time in a while.... and finally saw a small wet spot on my dark grey sheets that had been pressed against my chest. It didn't look bloody, but given that the sheets are a darker color it was hard to really know what I was looking at.
I'm now really scared because I know this is a sign of cancer (one breast, random/unstimulated leaking....). I made an appointment with a OB/GYN in my area, but can't be seen until Friday (two days). It's also my first visit with this guy because my old doc retried.
To add to this, I'm moving out of state in like 33 days because my husband and I just bought our first house together...
Anyway, I'm going to get checked on Friday, I'm just really frightened and need talking off of a cliff.
