What is "Obstetrics " ?

My experience over Obstetrics "Pregnant with tooth infection"

I’ve had this bad tooth for about 2 years. I’ve taken antibiotics on and off but my insurance didn’t cover root canals. 2 years later, they’ve decided to change policy and cover them. I’m 17 weeks pregnant, and will be not be allowed to go past 37 weeks. I found a doctor willing to do a root canal, but not until November. She put me on antibiotics. I really would love to keep this tooth (#19). I’m not in pain, but I know infections can be silent. I do have a history of preterm labor ( I now have a stitch) Is it safe to wait for the root canal with just antibiotics till then?
