My experience over Obstetrics "HSG(Hysterosalpingography) Experiences needed!"

I have to have an HSG(Hysterosalpingography) to see if my Fallopian tubes are clear. Has anyone had success in getting a doctor to listen to pain management concerns? I asked for sedation or something to knock me out and they basically laughed at me. I need viable options as this is our last test before potentially heading to IVF. I have an extremely low pain tolerance and I know for a fact I won’t be able to remain calm or still during this procedure. Please help!
