Obstetrics is the field of study concentrated on pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. As a medical specialty, obstetrics is combined with gynecology under the discipline known as obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN), which is a surgical field.

My experience over Obstetrics "Why is my period so late?"

I’m usually having 28 day cycles and it’s been 35 days and nothing. No cramps, no nothing and I keep getting negative pregnancy tests. I checked my thyroid blood levels and they were within range, so I’m not sure what else it could be?
