Obstetrics - Off birth control for a year, irregular periods and heavy clotting.:Health care

What is "Obstetrics " ?

Obstetrics is the field of study concentrated on pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. As a medical specialty, obstetrics is combined with gynecology under the discipline known as obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN), which is a surgical field.

My experience over Obstetrics "Off birth control for a year, irregular periods and heavy clotting."

Hi,

I was on birth control from the time I was 14-18 and have been off for a year. I had the ring, a copper IUD, and the pill. Ring - IUD - Ring - Pills - no birth control. After I stopped i got my period normally for two months after. Then I had no period from May until late July. That period lasted until early September. I went to the ER in the midst of that and they pretty much told me I was fine other than a high white blood cell count. But they didn't do any ultrasounds or nothing. Just bloodwork. After that I have had no period until April of this year. It is still ongoing. I'm heaving incredibly heavy large clots consistently. When there's not gigantic clots there's various smaller ones.

My current work schedule doesn't allow me to take off until next month unfortunately, I just need some guidance. If it's really an emergency I will prioritize this of course.
