My experience over Obstetrics "Can a doctor see if I’m able to have kids if I get IUD implant?"

I’ve had a few slip ups where I’m at the point I’m starting to think I cannot have kids. I want to see a doctor for it. I booked an IUD appointment for tomorrow, and that doctor can not check to see if I’m able to have kids. If I get the IUD, will I need it removed to be tested to see if I can have children?
