What is "Obstetrics " ?

Obstetrics is the field of study concentrated on pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. As a medical specialty, obstetrics is combined with gynecology under the discipline known as obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN), which is a surgical field.

My experience over Obstetrics "Late period, negative pregnancy tests"

Okay so basically I started to become sexually active since mid March, and since then my period has become regular (I was irregular before like getting my period every 2-3 months, but I’ve never had sex at that time). I’m not on any pills or IUD, we’ve just been using condoms. I was supposed to have my period last week but it hasn’t come yet. I’m 3 days late and currently freaking out. I don’t want kids right now. The condom never broke or slipped off (as far as I know), and we never did the pull out method. If it’s helpful, I recently quit my part time job because I was quite angry at my managers, and was on the edge about getting a new job. These events happened about a week and a half ago. I took 2 pregnancy tests (yesterday and today), and they were both negative. They were bought from the dollar store though, so do they make a difference?

Sorry for my grammar. English is not my first language.
