Obstetrics is the field of study concentrated on pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. As a medical specialty, obstetrics is combined with gynecology under the discipline known as obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN), which is a surgical field.

My experience over Obstetrics "HCG Levels"

Date of last period 7/26 Positive Test 8/13 HCG Levels 8/16 were 129.5 HCG Levels 8/18 were 247.8

So I realize the HCG levels didn't double but are close... could this still mean miscarriage? Could it mean ectopic? Any insight is helpful! Thank you!
