My experience over Obstetrics "Spotting a week before period"

Hello, I discontinued birth in April (after being on for over 10 years) and since my period has been kinda normal but I have been spotting a week before my cycle begins. The spotting is light but the spotting is persistent during sex those few days before my period.

I have had a transvaginal exam and a pap, both came back clear! I also tested negative for all STD. Should I be worried or could this be normal?
