Obstetrics - question!:Health care

What is "Obstetrics " ?

Obstetrics is the field of study concentrated on pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. As a medical specialty, obstetrics is combined with gynecology under the discipline known as obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN), which is a surgical field.

My experience over Obstetrics "question!"

Hello, for some background info. I only recently started becoming sexually active this year. On August 17th, I had unprotected sex. My partner did pull out. I did not take a plan b. I got my period as scheduled on September 8th, is was pretty regular (severe cramping, light bleeding the first days followed with a heavier flow). I have taken numerous pregnancy tests since it happened and they have all been negative. The most recent was on September 22nd, which was negative. I am scheduled to get my period the first week of October. Should I be worried?

And yes, I have an appointment scheduled to get on birth control this month. I appreciate your inputs.
