My experience over Obstetrics "Vagina problems"
Hi! I'm Ross and I am 16. I am about 5 2 and 125 pounds. I am ftm male and have been on testosterone for 6-7 months and just went up my dose a few days ago. Ever since I started testosterone, I've noticed less discharge and a different smell. I also have bottom growth which can be uncomfortable at times, but I use monistat so it's manageable. After my dad sexual assaulted me, I have been a lot more aware of my parts and have always thought there's something wrong. I went into full panic mode and went to urgent care three times and was tested positive for BV. They gave me antibiotics, but they didn't work. I decided it would be better to go to my primary doctor and get tested there. The three times I was tested, I only had a small amount of yeast and a small amount of bacteria that two doctors said were normal. I keep asking if I can get a culture of a PCR, but they said it may not be sensitive enough. I do see a gynecologist in May, but is this normal? My discharge is clear and I barely have itching, besides bottom growth. I can only smell it after I pee or if I've been sweating a lot. I do take acidophilus once a day and chlorophyll twice a day. I defiantly notice drinking more water helps a lot. Any other advice? Will other testing be necessary? I also did get topical estrogen that I haven't used yet.
