Obstetrics - Ultrasound report wrong about position on uterus?:Health care

What is "Obstetrics " ?

Obstetrics is the field of study concentrated on pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. As a medical specialty, obstetrics is combined with gynecology under the discipline known as obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN), which is a surgical field.

My experience over Obstetrics "Ultrasound report wrong about position on uterus?"

As far as I know I have always had a retroverted uterus. My obgyn told me this when I was pregnant. 8 years later, an ultrasound showed the same retroverted uterus and 2 small fibroids. Now, 2 years after that ultrasound, the report says antoverted uterus and shows the same 2 small fibroids that are roughly the same size as before. Is this possible? I am asking because since that ultrasound I had been having some constipation and thought I had hemmerhoids (turns out I do not) that lead me to see a surgeon who did a rectal exam. He says he feels a mass pressing on my rectum and says it could be my uterus but doesn't make sense since according to this newest report my uterus is antoverted. I am now panicking that I have cancer as I wait for a ct scan and I am just wondering what are the odds that the most recent ultrasound report is incorrect and I do in fact have a retroverted uterus which is what the doctor is feeling pressing on my rectum??
