Obstetrics - Is anyone else suffering after the depo-provera shot?

What is "Obstetrics " ?

Obstetrics is the field of study concentrated on pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. As a medical specialty, obstetrics is combined with gynecology under the discipline known as obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN), which is a surgical field.

My experience over Obstetrics "Is anyone else suffering after the depo-provera shot?"

I got the depo-provera shot 3 times when I (23F) was in high school (about 14y/15y). I received the shot every 3 months for 9 months. I got incredibly sick. I was bleeding straight for those 9 months with incredible pain. The first 3 months, they said it was normal and gave me my second shot. I was basically anemic at that point. I was a runner, but after 10 minutes into running I would feel terrible cramps which I believe were actually contractions (deeper than pms cramps, way more painful, and would come in waves). They were so bad I would start puking and couldn’t even stand up for these episodes would last up to 30 minutes. Eventually even sex would trigger these episodes. My mom finally let me say no to the shot. Well 10 years later, I am still suffering. After running or doing anything that gets my heart rate up for longer than 5 minutes, I fall to the ground with these contractions. Specialists are so expensive, I’m trying to get there eventually. Just wondering if maybe anyone else is experiencing this?
