My experience over Obstetrics "Severe cramps after orgasm"

For the last year I’ve noticed that whenever I have an orgasm (clitoral), which has only been through masturbation as I haven’t had sex with anyone else in a year, I get pretty severe cramps almost immediately after for about 10-15 minutes. It HURTS. It also makes me want to poop???

I’m 26f, never been pregnant or have kids. I’ve been using the vaginal ring as birth control for 6 years, however I took a 6 month break during COVID when I couldn’t re-up my prescription and during that time my periods got extremely painful. My doc told me to get an ultrasound and I was diagnosed with adenomysis and my provider said birth control was the treatment, so now I skip my period week which stopped all cramping.

Now the only time I cramp is after an orgasm… any idea why? What can I do? I’m stressed how this will impact my future sexual relationships.
