What is "Obstetrics " ?
Obstetrics is the field of study concentrated on pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. As a medical specialty, obstetrics is combined with gynecology under the discipline known as obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN), which is a surgical field.

My experience over Obstetrics "Should I go to a doctor for my itchiness, or am I being paranoid?"
Context: I am 25F, virgin (well, prior to November 2021).I notice through the past years, I've struggled sometimes having periods of time where I was itchy even before ever being sexually active. It was awfully itchy, but it'd happen before/after my period most often and when I Was stressed.
I was seeing/dating a guy for a year, and back in November, we sort of hooked up. What I mean is he basically put just the tip in my vagina, but didn't go deep in. Didn't cum/ejaculate or anything. Ever since then, I've been VERY paranoid (I'm a very paranoid person). I never had any issues the months after with odd feelings/itch or discharge. however the past three months, I notice I have peaks of itchiness, and light yellow discharge. I'm worried whether I have an STD, but I've never been sexually active before with anyone, and he wasn't sexually active with anyone 8 months prior to November. Note, I don't have any pain during urinating, nor bleeding, nor abdominal pain.
I should also add that these past three months have been the most stressful of my life. New job (new learning curves), got into a car accident (no injuries, just mental stress), and studying for an exam. So I've been under a lot lately. I also haven't been keeping up a good diet. am I over thinking this all? Should I be concerned and see a doctor?
