My experience over Obstetrics "What is recovery like for bilateral oophorectomy, laparoscopic?"

I need to schedule my (preventative) bilateral oophorectomy, which my OBGYN says she can do laparoscopically. What is the recovery timeline like, in general? When will I be able to care for/pick up/carry my toddler again?
