Obstetrics - Birth Control Change Question:Health care

What is "Obstetrics " ?

Obstetrics is the field of study concentrated on pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. As a medical specialty, obstetrics is combined with gynecology under the discipline known as obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN), which is a surgical field.

My experience over Obstetrics "Birth Control Change Question"

Hello, ive (27F) previously had a very high sex drive, started a combined OCP 3 years ago and has had little/no sex drive since roughly around then. my partner and I always explained it away as there were also hard personal things that happened around the same time years ago but its not getting better despite life being great now for a few years and we're started wondering it may have been the OCPs all along.

i'm wondering if switching to a nexplanon may help. i know theres a chance of sex drive affect with nexplanon as well, but could a change be enough to improve things? another way to phrase the quesion is "does the same woman who has libedo suppression with an OCP have the same effect with all hormonal birth control or can she have different libedo responses to different hormonal methods?"

not risky enough to go condoms only and dont want to do an IUD (ie the copper)
