Obstetrics is the field of study concentrated on pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. As a medical specialty, obstetrics is combined with gynecology under the discipline known as obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN), which is a surgical field.

My experience over Obstetrics "Can hot flashes sync up like menstruation can?"

Its a long story, but I'm ftm and have hot flashes (though I shouldn't). A post menopausal woman I work with said she suddenly felt very hot right as I noticed another (mild) one coming on. Can they sync?

I also have to go back to work soon and may not respond, but don't worry: I've already asked my obgyn to refer me to an endocrinologist who specializes in intersex conditions because there's no reason for this to be happening. If you ask for more details I can provide them, but it may be a few hours. I'm just curious if they can sync up at all or if its a coincidence/psychosomatic for right now.
