My doctor ordered a transrectal examination due to the possibility that my sudden weight gain and irregular periods might be caused by PCOS

Findings
Right ovary 3.3x2.7x2.4 cm Vol 11.1 cc

Left ovary 3.3x2.7x3.3cm Vol 15.8cc
Within are more than 20 follicles, each measuring 0.2-0.9 cm in diameter

CUL-DE-SAC: no free fluid
Others: no other adnexal mass seen
Impression: normal-sized retroverted uterus, thin endometrium, Polycystic ovarian morphology
