My experience over Obstetrics "Can switching hormonal IUD brands cause a change in discharge?"

I had a Skyla and recently switched to a Mirena. My discharge used to be rare and when I had it it was thin and clear, now I get two different types in a large amount. Once is thick and clear like snot/ boogers and the other is really similar to yeast infection discharge (I’m not itchy so I’m pretty sure I don’t have one). Is it normal to have a change in discharge when switching types do hormonal IUDs?
