Obstetrics - Clinical Breast Exam question:Health care

What is "Obstetrics " ?

My experience over Obstetrics "Clinical Breast Exam question"

Hi, I'll be having a obgyn appointment on the couple days before my period starts or during the actual start of my period. My questions are:

  • Will breast tenderness affect the breast exam? Like the results?

  • Will it hurt a lot or will the doctor be more gentle if they know that it's hurting?

And lastly and not related to the breast exam:

  • How can I best prepare and acommodate for the exam if I am on my period?

Like...

  • Will I be bleeding out when I'm being examined down there? Is that ok? Is it something that actually happens and is ok?

  • Should I change a pad right before the appointment or is it ok if it's changed for the last time 30 minutes before?
