What is "Obstetrics " ?
Obstetrics is the field of study concentrated on pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. As a medical specialty, obstetrics is combined with gynecology under the discipline known as obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN), which is a surgical field.
My experience over Obstetrics "Lifelong Hot Flashes, Young, Normal Blood Tests, plz help lol"
U 25f, Black, nonsmoker, 170lbs, I’m under 25 and i’ve had hot flashes since i was a child, but thought it was just puberty hormones. Ever since I was little i’ve gotten hot flashes all the time. I’ve always had normal periods, no irregularities,and every answer on google has that as symptoms of every various disease, also always lists constipation, which i’ve never had lol. Had blood tests done and thyroid and hormone levels came back normal. I’m on the pill, but it hasn’t made them worse, they’ve always been bad. Sometimes my vision will go spotty, and get very irritable. I also have severe anxiety and depression if that’s important. Hope someone has a similar experience!
