Obstetrics - Abnormal bleeding:Health care

What is "Obstetrics " ?

Obstetrics is the field of study concentrated on pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. As a medical specialty, obstetrics is combined with gynecology under the discipline known as obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN), which is a surgical field.

My experience over Obstetrics "Abnormal bleeding"

Ok so this is going to be long. Ill start by preferencing that i do have PCOS. On April 17th i started my period and everything was normal, medium bleeding, no large clots, until it lasted 4 weeks and a small fibrous mass came along with concerning clots. I went to my gyno and she put me on a .35 progesterone taper, which i had to demand for (her exact words were 'well if youre just bleeding you can live with that'). It made everything worse. Heavier bleeding and larger than quarter clots. I took the taper for about a week before i had a incident of light headedness and fogginess with the excessive bleeding and quarter sized clots. I went to the ER and they put me on a 10 mg progesterone taper, which worked for the most part. Im no longer bleeding heavily or clotting but im still bleeding lightly. Ive had blood tests and yesterday I had an ultrasound, both pelvic and transvaginal. All tests have come back normal. Its been 7 weeks and all ive been told is everything is normal, when that cant be the case. 7 week long periods arent normal. Im in pain, nothing helps and its becoming a financial drain. What could this be? Is it just the pcos? Why wont my doctors help me find answers?
