Obstetrics - Brown spotting and bowel infection:Health care

What is "Obstetrics " ?

Obstetrics is the field of study concentrated on pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. As a medical specialty, obstetrics is combined with gynecology under the discipline known as obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN), which is a surgical field.

My experience over Obstetrics "Brown spotting and bowel infection"

I got a bowel infection during the weekend resulting in diarrhea, stomach cramps and increased body temperature. What happened prior to that (presumably the reason for everything) is I decided to exercise more so I rode my mtb bike a lot more than I used to. A week ago I had my period as usual and I exercised excessively during all that. Bad idea. A day before infection began I had consumed bad milk by mistake.

Visited a doctor today who told me that one of the reasons this infection is caused by is me pushing my body over its limit. During inspection the doctor checked my stomach externally by pushing it lightly.

Now the thing that concerns me is that when I got back home I noticed a little bit of blood, like little brown spotting. Definitely not from anus. Looks like an old blood, my period ended a couple of days ago.

Could it be that it is an old blood (like a leftover blood) from my last period coming out when pushed during examination couple of hours earlier? Or is it that since I lost a lot of liquids and exhausted physically my body is just messed up?

Im going to wait until the next day to see if it goes away. Or should I run to er?

Just to clarify, I don’t have stds and got tested for cervical cancer recently and it’s negative. English is not my first language.
