My experience over Obstetrics "Can endometrial cancer be detected via ultrasound?"

(Im 22f with PCOS and on birth control pills)

For the past few months I’ve been dealing with pelvic pain, pain during sex, and occasional painful urination. I went to my gynecologist and they did a transvaginal ultrasound and called me back saying I had “an unusually thick endometrium lining” but that it’s not cancerous. They want me to change my bc pills after this cycle and do a repeat ultrasound in 4 months. I am just worried sick though. Can they tell if it is cancerous or not by looking at the ultrasound? I can’t find anything conclusive online. It’s been really freaking me out :(
