My experience over Obstetrics "Menstruation cycle"

Hi all. Long time lurker here and finally decided to ask a question. I apologize if this has been asked before. I will try to keep this short as possible. I missed my period last month. My period is normally irregular and my normal cycle falls anywhere between 30-45ish days (I’ve missed periods before but not too often). I had unprotected sex a few days before my period was due according to an app I use. I didn’t have any symptoms before the period was due, but I did have pain on my right side(pretty sure it was an ovary) at certain times it felt like appendicitis(already had that surgery). About 2 weeks ago I felt a sharper pain there that lasted a couple hours and now I’m not in any pain from it really. Now I’m about a month from the last time I’ve had sex and my boobs have been hurting for about a week. I just had some brown discharge. I’m feeling like it’s my period coming, but wanted to see what you guys think. Is this normal period stuff or something else I should worry about?
