My experience over Obstetrics "No period even after medroxyprogesterone (provera)"

My OB prescribed a medroxyprogesterone to force my menstruation to come and then I'll be able to take minipill for birth control. I have PCOS.

After 10 pills, I still haven't gotten my period. My body feels like I'm about to have my period, sore breasts, bloating etc. But still no period after 17 days.

My bf and I are sexually active but we always use condom and the pull out method, so I'm kind of certain im not pregnant. What seems to be the problem?
