Obstetrics - Why don’t med students learn anything about physiological birth in medical school?:Health care

What is "Obstetrics " ?

Obstetrics is the field of study concentrated on pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. As a medical specialty, obstetrics is combined with gynecology under the discipline known as obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN), which is a surgical field.

My experience over Obstetrics "Why don’t med students learn anything about physiological birth in medical school?"

I’ve witnessed hundreds of births and can count on one hand how many OBs or L&D nurses know the first thing about physiological birth? Why is this not taught in medical school if the goal is to reduce birth trauma, c sections, and complications.
