What is "Obstetrics " ?
Obstetrics is the field of study concentrated on pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. As a medical specialty, obstetrics is combined with gynecology under the discipline known as obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN), which is a surgical field.
My experience over Obstetrics "Breast fluctuation/tenderness"
Age: 25 Birth control: lo loestrin Not pregnant Never been pregnant Been on bc for over 5 years. Haven’t had my period since May 2022 but up until then it was monthly for 5 days. My breasts tend to fluctuate around my period but since my period has stopped they’ve grown exponentially and the pain is unbearable. I can barely touch them or workout. Usually they go down to their “normal” size after a week or so but it has been months and the pain is worse than ever before. Any explanation for this?
