Obstetrics - what could be the cause of withdrawal bleeding to stop suddenly?:Health care

What is "Obstetrics " ?

Obstetrics is the field of study concentrated on pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. As a medical specialty, obstetrics is combined with gynecology under the discipline known as obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN), which is a surgical field.

My experience over Obstetrics "what could be the cause of withdrawal bleeding to stop suddenly?"

first i want to say that i’ve been taking my birth control pill on time and everyday for 3 months now. i did however take it early a few times the week before i last had sex because i was in a different time zone and tried my best to stay on schedule with my home time. i did however never miss a pill.

now… we had sex without a condom and he pulled out. it’s been 14 days since and i have been nervous about it for a while because

  1. i haven’t started my “period”
  2. he pulled out but a little late
  3. the changed times of me taking my birth control

i read that missing your withdrawal bleeding isn’t always a tell all for if your pregnant so i’m waiting till day 21 to take a pregnancy test and be sure. i still just wanted to get some insight on if anyone has some advice or knowledge about the times birth control has “not worked”.

for your info i’m currently taking the Errin mini pill and know it’s common to lose your period while on it but is it odd it’s happening to me after two months have passed? i also am a little untrusting of the mini pill cause i read it’s “less effective” and could cause ovulation which if so, i could of been ovulating around the time we had sex.
