My experience over Obstetrics "How can I prevent UTI's"

I have had a bf now for a while and notice I keep getting UTI's, mild cases of it but still it changes the smell and it's uncomfortable and annoying. Not sure if I am just prone to them but What are some things I can do to prevent getting them?
