Obstetrics - I had very mild pre-eclampsia in my last pregnancy. How would this be managed in subsequent births?:Health care

What is "Obstetrics " ?

Obstetrics is the field of study concentrated on pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. As a medical specialty, obstetrics is combined with gynecology under the discipline known as obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN), which is a surgical field.

My experience over Obstetrics "I had very mild pre-eclampsia in my last pregnancy. How would this be managed in subsequent births?"

I went into labor spontaneously around 39w. I forget the exact level of protein in my urine but it was just above the threshold on a single urine sample when I was admitted, and my BP was slightly elevated (~ 130/90). I had no other symptoms.

I was told that this would mean automatic induction for me in a subsequent pregnancy, but that seems excessive considering I had spontaneous labor and no other symptoms. Is that accepted management?
