Obstetrics - Implantation bleeding or period? Please help, I feel so anxious.:Health care

What is "Obstetrics " ?

Obstetrics is the field of study concentrated on pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. As a medical specialty, obstetrics is combined with gynecology under the discipline known as obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN), which is a surgical field.

My experience over Obstetrics "Implantation bleeding or period? Please help, I feel so anxious."

So, I’m (28f) on BC pill but I haven’t been taking it that well the last few months (usually the week my period starts, I take a break from the BC and start back afterwards) since I’ve been nervous of the hormone fluctuations but also I have unprotected sex with my BF and need the protection.

Anyways, I was taking my BC (start of new pack) end of September. Then I took a trip for a few days and forgot my BC at home :/ this caused my period to show up while on the trip. It was a normal period, 5 days. This was Oct 1st that my period started ended on Oct. 5th.

Now, I got back home and started my BC on Sunday Oct 9th. I’ve been taking it ever since. BUT on Oct 17th- I had stomach cramping randomly and went to the bathroom and I noticed some light pink bleeding. I was surprised since I literally just had my period. Then i had more bleeding that day, I put on a pad but the blood was a dark brown. It wasn’t heavy like my usual flow at all but did end up filling the pad a bit. Not incredibly soaked at all. Next day, I had only very light bleeding also brown. The day after I think also even lighter bleeding brown as well. On Thursday the 20th, more bleeding again like on the 17th so I wore a pad, it filled the pad a bit but not heavy (maybe tmi but I flipped the pad over, the sticky part, and I could see blood soaked through). Nothing the 21st, nothing the 22nd. Today I have very light brown bleeding when I wipe only.

Could this be implantation bleeding or just a weird period from my BC mistakes. I’m so scared!!

Edit: BC is Progestin-only pills
