Obstetrics - BV to Yeast Infection to ??

What is "Obstetrics " ?

Obstetrics is the field of study concentrated on pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. As a medical specialty, obstetrics is combined with gynecology under the discipline known as obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN), which is a surgical field.

My experience over Obstetrics "BV to Yeast Infection to ??"

So right off the top I’ll provide background: I’m early 30s and have PCOS. I would be classified as medically obese but have good health otherwise. I’m on metformin and have been off HBC for a little over a year. I have not had sex in 3 months.

Now the story: At the beginning of March I started feeling off. I had had BV once before in 2019 and it was absolutely miserable. I was bummed it was back but hey, at least I knew the symptoms this time. My doctor confirmed with a swab test and gave me Metronidazole in 7 day pill form. I felt better for the first few days but was then back to being miserable by end. I had developed a yeast infection which was not surprising. Took Fluconazole in pill form because my period was coming. Symptoms once again temporarily ceased but came back a few days later. Got period and had symptoms throughout. At this point symptoms are discomfort including cramping, desire to consistently urinate, burning so went back to the doctor. They tested my urine for a bladder/urinary infection, did another swab, and STI test. Everything came back normal but uncomfortable symptoms are persisting. WHAT COULD IT BE. It has now been a little over a month of constant vaginal discomfort. It’s impacting my life. I am depressed, frustrated, withdrawn. I haven’t been having sex but I miss it and an opportunity has presented itself. I want to be fixed!! What can I do next?
