My experience over Obstetrics "Mirena lifetime"

Hi! I got a mirena back in may 2018 and was told to get it replaced in 2023 (5 years). I was worried about the approaching date and where I’ll be then, so I asked the doctor during a colposcopy in Jan 2022 if it’s possible for me to replace it sooner so I don’t have to worry about it. She told me that it’s different now and it got approval for 7 years recently. Is that true?
