Obstetrics - About Nexplanon:Health care

What is "Obstetrics " ?

Obstetrics is the field of study concentrated on pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. As a medical specialty, obstetrics is combined with gynecology under the discipline known as obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN), which is a surgical field.

My experience over Obstetrics "About Nexplanon"

I've been using nexplanon, the arm implant, for birth control for 2 years now. In this time I've noticed that I only ever get my period after unprotected sex. It doesn't matter how long its been in between, I've gone between months, days, and weeks; without fail every time it comes only a few days after. I never used to have "clumps" or heavy bleeding before nexplanon, but now i do. I was wondering if what's happening here is nexplanon basically aborting any possible pregnancy? Is this normal? Is my theory way out there?
