My experience over Obstetrics "Brown Discharge, Pelvic Pain, Exercising"

Hi all-

First and foremost, I’m a big worrier. Health anxiety is my specialty 🫣.

My new hyper fixation is pelvic pain I’ve been experiencing lately—mind you, this pain isn’t new for me, and I had it checked out in 2013 and all was good. But I’ve noticed that it’s become more pronounced recently—I think this is due to me getting into biking in the last month. The pain is in my lower abdomen/groin, and occurs when I stretch. More pronounced on my right side, but also happens on my left.

Last weekend I went on my longest ride to date—24 miles. When I got home to shower I noticed I had some light brown, egg white consistency discharge. I didn’t think too much about it, but I think because this pain can be an anxiety trigger for me I put two and two together and assumed I was done for.

This discharge only happens after I exercise, comes out right away, and then everything after that is clear and normal. I took my last active pill of BC last night. I also have PCOS, for what it’s worth.

Anyways, is this normal? Am I worrying myself silly (answer: yes)? I plan on calling my doc tomorrow but wanted to post here, too.
